Razer introduces the new DeathStalker Ultimate, that the company said is the world’s smartest keyboard. Featuring Switchblade UI, the keyboard has a 4.05-inch LCD trackpad panel and 10 dynamic, adaptive tactile keys on the right hand side. The former can display in-game information or run external applications such as YouTueb, Facebook, Twitter, Gmail. You can also use the LCD as a multitouch trackpad with intuitive gestures built-in. The 10 dynamic keys, on the other hand, can be used to bind commands, macros, skills and spells, which will dynamically change to suit the in-game situation
The DeathStalker Ultimate, as a gaming keyboard, features anti-ghosting capability for up to 10 simultaneous key presses, 1000Hz Ultrapolling rate, fully programmable keys with on the fly macro recording, five additional macro keys, and dedicated gaming mode for preventing accidentally exiting the game. The keyboard has tri-color backlit keys and chiclet style key caps. The Wrist rest is fixed and braided fiber cable is used.
Along with the DeathStalker Ultimate, Razer also release the DeathStalker gaming keyboard that features the same anti-ghosting technology that allows up to 10 simultaneous key presses, 1000Hz ultrapolling, chiclet key caps, gaming mode, programmable keys with on the fly macro recording and fixed wrist rest. Instead of LCD panel and 10 dynamic keys, the DeathStalker gets a numpad.
Both keyboards are Razer Synapse 2.0 enabled. The DeathStalker Ultimate will be available in September for $249.99, and the DeathStalker in Q4 for a much lower price, $79.99.
